 FREE 20'S CHARLESTON LESSON FROM 7-8P, OPEN SWING DANCING NOW FROM 8P-12A!
Yes, Firehouse fans, we're finally back in La Jolla and, starting this Thurs. Dec. 20th, we've now extended our dancing hours to 8p to midnight! To celebrate our return to La Jolla, we're also offering a FREE 20's Partner Charleston class from 7-8p. Come learn the dance craze that swept the country in the 20's and was the direct predecessor of the Lindy Hop.
Also, this Thursday marks our 8th Annual Firehouse Holiday Party, so mixed in with the traditional swing music fare from DJs Tremaine and Nate, enjoy some fun holiday swing music with DJ Roh followed by some late-night 60's, 70's, 80's music from yours truly. Heya Gang.
I'm going to be home from the Bay Area for Xmas next weekend. Planning on maybe actually going out dancing down in SD for the first time in aaaaages. I'm hoping that the Sunday spot will still be hopping despite the holidays...
So everybody come out, darn it!
Especially all you peoples from back in the day.

Just a quick reminder that there is NO HEP SPOT this Saturday (usually the 2nd SAT each month)
We're all going to Atlanta for Swing & Soul, so the DEC HEP SPOT will be next Saturday, DEC 15.
