The dance contest was supposed to judged by how well you performed in the theme of your costume. Aletha and I were convicts, so we thought it would be funny to take a hostage. In addition, we were handcuffed to each other. Well, the very understanding gentleman who we took hostage, started flailing madly! We thought we were hurting him and tried to let go, but we could not do it. Little did we know, he was really playing up the role of the struggling and unwilling participant. All of this was explained to us when we went to apologize afterwards! At least it helped us be co-winners of the contest with the mad doctors.   Wow!  Those are some lips.  |

Great night! It was so cool to see so many costumes and people getting into the spirit (groan!) of the evening. Ain't Sharon (your ticket-taker) just a lovely Titania, queen of the Fayries? And Laurel as the fairy gone bad--ha! The jail-break duo of Shawn and Aletha dancing handcuffed: now that's an exercise in lead and follow! Ron as a zombified Marcel Marceau...Susan Bondi doing the Stray Cat Strut in her cat costume...Luis mimicking Meeshi, replete with hat, shirt changes, and even dance moves! Consorting with that wench Jennifer, Mike Hamilton was either Aladdin or Ackbar from Life in Hell...A much more clothed Brian atoned for his recent Full Monty performance with an innocent Boy Scout's uniform...Liz O'G portrayed the 20's flapper to a T...Jeff and Michelle floored everyone with their dancing doc routine...Sleepy time came early for Amy, Matt and Valorie in their pajamas...Temptation for Friar Meeshi never came so seductively as the devilish angel/angelic devil duo of Valerie and Melissa...Heather H hopped in with her 80's outfit...Was that Disco Lothario Ian trying to pick up on Hollywood High cheerleader Nancy?...Cowboy HopMichael tried to tame Tigress Emily to no avail!...Where was Zorro James to help him? Who'd I miss? Great Party Everyone! |
