Whoa. Too big. I wonder why. How come this was easy for everyone else? grrrr. |
| |
Ron - if you use 72dpi and make your images about 4" wide, you will have no problem. Sorry I missed the party! Better that than the boat, I suppose. |
| |
I like Twirly with her "Twirly" jersey on (Ron, I sub-sampled the image to 72 dpi using bi-cubic interpolation...) ![]() |
| |
Oh, yeah.. Ron, what scanner did you use to scan in these images? Kevin looks like he spent a little too much time in the sun! You should check out the HP OfficeJet Pro R40 that just came out (shameless plug, since I was one of the designers!) I like the pics, caught me in full stripy splendor! |

My scanner is an HPScanjet 5p, using Paperport software, then exporting the files as .JPG, then uploaded. Somehow the photos got expanded, they are just 3x5! So I scanned them again, shrunked. If that's a word. If it isn't, it is now. So the next post will be the big test. Thanks people, for coming to my housewarming party. The SD swing scene, and the people are awesome. For those who couldn't make it, you missed out. For those who I didn't invite--sorry about that, maybe next time! |

Margaret looks a little sceptical of Meeshi's new move! Gene and Laurel doing Hollywood styling, with Marcus' approval? ![]() |
| |
OK, that's more like it. Four more: Gene and Emily: Michele and Kevin: Gene and Isgard: Andy and Emmy looking entirely too cute (as usual): ![]() |
| |
Oh, and that was Shiela and Andy in the first pic, Greg and Susan B. in the 2nd picture, and I have others that I didn't scan in of the rest of the partygoers, too many to name. I never thought that my apartment could fit 7 couples dancing in the living room, and 1 more in the kitchen, simultaneously! |
| |
Ron, there's no need to insult the Hollywood style (see photo of Gene and me)! I think I was accidentally knee-ing Gene in the crotch and he was stepping on my foot. Heh heh, just kidding, Gene. I really don't even remember that pose. I swear I wasn't drunk! |
| |
Cool Pix, Damn, I wish we wouldn't have been out of town!!! Next time huh? Thanks for sharing the pix, looks like I missed some fun! |
| |
Ron, Great Party! Once the sofa went up, it was like a mini-Rocket! Dancing in socks on carpet was a personal first. I had a blast! Thanks for having us over. Hope the carpet has recovered...! PS The macaroons have been redistributed. Tammy, We missed you! |
| |
Tammy, I'm not sure you would have enjoyed it. As Michael said, we were dancing in socks! I've always thought dancing around on carpet during any kind of party was great fun, but the problem for the swing dance Follows was that they started to get a bit of carpet burn from spinning... ouch. |
| |
Ummm, that's a funny thing to say. Dancing and beer, sounds good to me! I practice in my sox at home, and bare feet in the grass! That's the best grass-stained lindy feet. Just cuz I'm always particular of my dress, don't think I don't like to get dirty. I like looking like a girl, but playing like a boy!!! (just ask about my drunken, in a dress, tree climbing adventure) Tam |
| |
i was just kidding, I only meant that you wouldn't have gotten to wear any of your cool shoes... but it sounds like you wouldn't have minded at all! |
