I was perusing through mp3.com this evening and noticed that since I set up a Jump Jones page there a few months back we have never hit higher then number 267 on the Big Band/Swing charts. Then after listening to some of the tunes in the top 50 range I have discovered that this is just WRONG!!! Much of this is due to me not promoting that site very well. So your mission, if you chose to accept it, is to help us rocket up to at least the top 50. But how can you do this you ask?? It's really quite simple and will only take a few minutes of your time. Just head on over to http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/547/jump_jones.html and listen to either, or both, of the tunes on that page. You have to listen to the tune for at least 30 seconds, although you surly will want to listen to the entire tune. You only need to do this once as it only counts unique plays.
If we get enough hits it will immediately rocket us up the charts which will of course get us that big record deal which will then allow us to buy our own island and private jet. At that point we will pick each and every one of you up, in the a fore mentioned jet, and throw a huge beach party. Please make sure that you dress nice as pictures will be taken so that I can show them next year at my 20th high school reunion and run around saying "I TOLD YOU SO!!!" to all those that doubted my ability to make something of myself.
Oh, just so that we can get an early start on the party planning please respond now with you drink order so that we can have the right brand of liquor available for the big Jump Jones island party. Don't worry if you are a Bombay Sapphire Martini drinker as I will guarantee you there will be plenty of that on hand as it's my drink of choice. And lastly if you order a Vodka Martini you will still be invited but will be spending your time at the party as a blender jockey for the margarita's...you should know by now that there is NO vodka in a martini!!!

P.S. Under the influence of a large quantity of liquor Garth has agreed to wear a speedo at the Jump Jones Island Beach Party. I on the other had will not be wearing a speed as, unlike many other shall we say...portly... gentlemen, understand the fashion limitations that go along my size.
