I always go "dark" with LBtB when it competes with another monthly major venue, like "Lindy Underground", "Last Saturday", and Meeshi's new F2 on August 23rd. So it looks now like there won't be LBtB the last two Saturdays in August! OUCH!!! Wait just a minute here! Can't postpone TWO weeks, back to back, during August, the most beauuuuuutiful month of summer nights on the globe!!! Hmmm.....Must mitgate, ruminate, contimplate...AHAH!!! I'VE GOT IT!!!! How 'bout we move the last two "Lindy by the Bay's" in August to FRIDAY NIGHT!!!??? There's no Friday night venue in SD the entire month of August!! LET'S DO IT!!! Ron can I count on you to DJ at all for the following remaining "Late Night LBtB" spots: August 2nd.....Saturday, 6-10pm August 9th.....Saturday, 6-10pm August 16th.....Saturday, 6-10pm August 22nd...Friday, 6-10pm August 29th....Friday, 6-10pm |

I'm not too crazy about driving down during Friday evening rush hour traffic, but at least it is in the "right" direction for me (I work and live in RB). None-the-less, I like the Friday night idea and will try to be there. I agree with Jeff: how can we NOT have LBTB on beautiful August evenings!? |

True. After the "bye" this weekend, it's the next 3 Saturdays, and then 2 Fridays. Should be a nice change, especially with no Friday night venue in August. |

ALL LBtB's in August are on Saturdays nights, from 6-10pm, with the exception of the last two weekends, which will be on Fridays, because of the New Firehouse August 23rd, and Last Saturday, August 30th. Make sense? Didn't think so. |

Margie just told me! Oh well, Friday the 29th, or Saturday the 30th for LBtB...Hmmm...maybe we can take a little poll mid August to see which day works best for people, as well as for Ron to DJ. I'd like him to DJ at least once or twice in August if he can make it. |
