It's a BLAST!!!!!
Tropical breezes, amazing sunsets, dazzling fireworks, great food, drinks, fun, friends, and, of course DANCING!!!! Under the Stars on the waters of Mission Bay on the grounds of the 5 star Hilton San Diego Resort. The "cover"? Just the heavens, baby. Its FREE. And there's a free beginning swing dance lesson at 6 until 6:30, for those who haven't gotten a taste of swing yet.

Despite Camp Hollywood we had a great turnout. About 100 dancers, AGAIN! These summer nights are becoming so popular. I'm sure we'll have to expand the dancefloor next week like we do for exchanges. I'll need to bring that 3rd amp for sure so we've got a wall of sound the entire length of the dancefloor.

Thanks to Melissa Varriano and Jim Cruzen for DJing the better part of the evening. Ernie got a birthday dance. Amazing sunset and fireworks. There was a wedding rehearsal dinner on the beach on the other side of the wall, so we provided their entertainment, and they provided the bon fire in the fire ring.
