The floor is much better (1500 sq. ft. sprung wood floor), the lighting is totally awesome (state-of-the-art club lighting), and the hall is centrally located (in beautiful La Jolla, 3 blks. South of the Cove, and only 20 mins from both Encinitas and downtown San Diego).
Although this new swing club is scheduled to be open on the 1st & 3rd Fridays of every month starting in September, we will have our Grand Opening Party on Saturday, August 23rd. This party will serve as a San Diego swing community open house with special dance performances from local swing instructors and their students, and DJed music all night long from several of San Diego's popular local swing DJs.
The fun dance party will last from 8pm-midnight, and entrance to the party will be a minimal $6 per person, just enough to cover our rental expenses. And, yes, this dance club will be an ALL-AGES DANCE VENUE! So come on out and support our newest swing venture in downtown La Jolla.
