I don't understand you regular swingers sometimes. BTO is a great band, and yet, last night, the only regulars were myself, Jennifer, Marcus, Gabe, Debbie, Heather, Jeff, Meeshi, Melissa, Valorie & a couple others. I know some people got tired of them, but they have added new songs and sound fresh. The Catamaran is a fun place to dance. Its got some class, even if it has a small dance floor. Good thing there were a lot of non-regulars there last night. It might survive. I know I can't exhort people to support a place or a band they don't want to, but I don't understand why this place doesn't get more regulars. Do you people really prefer gyms with recorded music, over a bar with atmosphere and a live 10-piece band? |

Yes, I agree with you Ron and would like to give a Big Thumbs-Up to BTO for their improvements and will certainly be at the next show. Last week I had the best time ever dancing to them. Shannon's new boogie-woogie song was my new favorite of theirs and all the other songs were rhythm "right on". SUPPORT BTO!!! I also know that alot of the dancers were at the Casbah last night for the Hot Club Of Cowtown show. Andy, did BTO play the song that I requested for you? |

Ahh, i didn't get to go last nite... though I wanted to. An unexpected mini-crisis came up last nite which thwarted my plans, so I don't know if they played "At Duke's Place" Anyone? I, too, had a great time last week when we were there. It's definitely a treat to see a live band in a bar venue... I'd love to support that combination. |
