Pass the word....Slight change in hours for Early Swingin' Sundays at the La Jolla Marriott.

Beginning April 2nd, Jim Cruzen will teach the free lesson at 6:30pm with open dancing afterwards until 10:30pm (even a little later if the dancers hand out!)

We closed the place with a nice crowd there last week...great energy! If you haven't been, come give it a try....Have something to eat (menu offered in the bar), enjoy a cold drink, get in a little dance practice and still get home at a reasonable hour! See you on the dance floor!

Its Margaret's birthday on Sunday, says Jim, and he's trying to get a lot of people to go to the Marriott to celebrate it. It would be great to have a full house and to be able to give her a great birthday jam.

I'll be splitting the DJ duties with Jim. The Marriott is open from 7:30 to 10:30 (6:30 for a lesson), so come on out!

Ron, thanks for getting out the information about Margaret's party on Sunday. I've been too busy to post anything on the forum. To everyone out there, I just found out a couple of days ago that Margaret's b-day is on Monday. So let's pull together and throw a great party for her on sunday. Look forward to seeing you all there.

Hey, that was an awesome night at the Marriott!

It was great to see the admiration Margaret's students and San Diego's Lindy Hop scene have for Margaret both as a teacher and as a dancer. And Margaret was really pulling out the stops in the styling department during her birthday dance. Whew! No wonder this woman is revered around here! Thanks for the dance, Margaret!

And as a surprise treat, it was great to see Jon Costa venture south to his old stomping grounds and dance with Margaret again. Costa remains as amazing as ever.
