Hello All,

So, I know it's not swing, but, I thought some of you might be interested.

Jennifer and I are teaching a introductory tango workshop at UCSD RIMAC this Sunday from 2-3:30pm. This will be free if you're a UCSD student, and $5 if you're a non-UCSD student. The workshop will be introductory but the material will be good fundamental information for people with some experience as well.

Pricing on that is correct, Mike. UCSD is subsidizing by providing the floor space, sound system, etc.

Also - for anyone who just wants to see what Argentine tango is about, we are having a little "sidewalk milonga" tomorrow (Thursday) from 5-7PM on the steps in front of the Old Gym (also called the Main Gym, not to be confused with RIMAC) at UCSD. See the maps link above.

Okay, I'll stop posting about tango here now.

Hey, I think my sister and Justin from SLO would be interested in taking a break from all the sequins of westie land and check out some tango action. Sounds like Quint might come too.... possibly Pavel and Luis. Any other takers?
