Louis believed his birthday to be the 4th of July, 1900, but 12 years after his death it was discovered that his birth certificate stated AUGUST 4th, 1901! Either way, we can celebrate this whole year that 'Mr. Jazz', as Duke called him, brought this whole thing into existence -- a very special year.

P.S. Can't wait to come back to town in October!
