If you love the piano, you won't want to miss Wednesday's show with French jazz & boogie woogie great Philippe Le Jeune and San Diego's own Sue Palmer. Then Thursday, Peter Sprague brings his zen zone of guitar creativity to the Dizzy's space. Friday showcases the Chris Klich Quintet, & Saturday finds us in a Latin mood with Kokopelli. And don't forget that Latin Sundays begins his Sunday with an art presentation @ 4 PM and a 6 PM start time for music by the 20+ pieces of the Bi-National Mambo Orchestra, led by the trumpet of Bill Caballero.(get there early to make sure you get a seat. . .)

Here's some highlights of what you missed if you didn't get the chance to hang @ Dizzy's last week: On his last night in the US before heading back to his native France, keyboard virtuoso Philippe Le Jeune and San Diego's own Sue Palmer ending Wednesday's show on the same piano bench with four songs of four handed smokin' boogie woogie . . . then in Thursday's first set, Peter Sprague pulling out a trio version of "Instincts Of The Heart," (the 2nd movement of the suite he wrote for his spring symphony show) that featured a gorgeous Jaco-like sonorous fretless melody solo by Kevin Hennessy . . . the Chris Klich Quintet's haunting version of "A Slow, Hot Wind" on Friday night . . . Saturday's final 1/2 hour when a trio of horn players (including NYC trumpeter James Zollar) showed up to sit in with Dave Millard, Steve Feierabend, and the ever-burnin' Kokopelli . . . and Sunday the 19 piece Bi-National Mambo Orchestra, with a 14 piece horn section led by the trumpet of Bill Caballero, blowing the roof off!
