I'm listening to Internet radio at work and I just heard Sammy Davis Jr.'s "The Candy man Can" from his Greatest hits Live album. I never realized how that song swings (at least this version). Does anyone have that song? Ron? I'd love to get a chance to dance to it sometime..... |

I'm telling you guys, that version of Candy Man didn't sound like lounge, it was big band swing at it finest. I'll see if I can find it on Napster..... Kate, Esquivel is a blast. It's a riot when you hear all that "Zoo Zoo Zooing" from the lounge singers. "Miniskirt" is a favorite Esquivel song of mine. |
