Heh... "Dancing Queen" by ABBA. I don't know if that says something, but it sure is funny.

No way!!! Mine is "Pick up the Pieces" by the Average White Band. That song is groovy. It's off the Swingers Soundtrack, too. And the main chic in the movie is named Lorraine, and she goes swing dancing (kind of) at the Derby! Gotta love that!! Now mine saying something.

That would explain a lot, actually. (Reuben and the disco...)

Any of us born in the 70's are disco babies...

"Delta Dawn" by Helen Reddy

never heard of this one - anyone?

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of pageLink to this message   By Jane Hance (Janeh) on Thursday, November 02, 2000 - 07:44 pm: Edit

Helen Reddy: Canadian county/folk/gospel singer. Great voice. Still around. See her compilation CD's on infomercials on late night TV.

"Delta Dawn, what's that flower you've got on? Could it be the faded rose of yesterday ...yada yada yada...."

A very nice song, actually.
