If you haven't been there, it's worth the two drink minimum and dinner. The food was great and the atmosphere unbeatable. I would recommend this for any swing lover that wants a fancy night out!
Last night we celebrated my B-day (early, since it's on Mother's Day and I'm going to visit my mom in LV). Steve Lucky and the Rumba Bums were playing. They are soooo good. You can dance to every song. We did. In fact, I had a great B-day dance. I'm grateful I didn't fall on my butt. After two (strong) Vodka Gimlets and wearing my platform pumps, it was quite a whirl on the dance floor! The Fellas did a great job keeping me on the beam, I even got lead by the fab women, Andi from KPOP, Carmen from Steve Lucky, and our own Lisa Conway. What a ride.
Back to the club. I can't get over how it's just like a little Cotton Club. Really. The booths are angled and tiered, so you can see the stage and dance floor while you eat. It's nicely decorated, not too cheesy (most people trying to create the "look" don't get it), even my husband was impressed, and if you know David, you know he has VERY discerning taste.
It's not a place to go practice your dancing, but if you want to have a HOT date, take 'em here!
