why? |

Well, if you have to ask why, then forget it man. No, seriously, Whitey's Lindy Hopper's do a great scene. There is tons of rad dancing. Leon does this curly leg slide thing that is out of this world! |

I think there was this group in the movie, somebody or another called, Whitey's Lindy Hoppers... Personally, *I* have never heard of them, but I hear they're pretty good :) I think it's that Frankie guy again... Regina |

Frankie is not in this scene. I believe he did the choreography though. I just read Norma's book and I can't remember who all of them are, but I can referene the names for you tomorrow. Norma Miller and Leon James, Joyce someone, and mabye Willamae, argh, I just can't remember. Anyone out there know which Whitey's they are? If not I'll let you all know tomorrow as I'm at work and not at home. |

No, I know that Frankie choreographed it but I don't know the names of the hoppers that are in it but I definitely agree that it's worth taping. And speaking of really good savoy footage, I came across "Cabin in the Sky" a couple of weeks ago and it was one of the longer dance scenes that I had seen in a movie, with Savoy style and collegiate shag as well as some air steps. Worth renting or if you wanna borrow it, I would be more than happy to lend it out... Regina |

Actually a bunch of us should go to the Antique Row Cafe for Dinner and watch Cabin in the Sky or day at the Races there! ![]() |
