It was PACKED with dancers, and oh, yeah, drunk people from the ball game. But the energy is what you could feel tonight. It's 2:00 a.m. and I can't wind down. Where's the after hours dance? Note to self, "Never leave the camera at home!!!" |

Wow, Sal. What a night you missed! Damn, bro. Well, Matt stepped up to the plate and got tons of Dolly dances. But I don't think I've seen more SD dancers show up for Henry's than last night. About the same as for Rhonda's goin' to Italy party, I guess. But I have feeling that Henry's is gonna be pretty packed out this summer. Hey, it's free, dancers now know about it, and the public is starting to come out more just to watch them. Next week, man. |

LOL! I know. Matt you wer on FIYAHHH! Heather really likes dancing with you. And I only danced with her about 4 times all night. I had so much fun. So many great follows. Christina was in a zone. Elizabeth can blues dance, whoa. Alicat and I were dancing sooooo fast, it was wild. And Sylvia had her hair down and it was like a twirly skirt...so cool. And I love dancing with Jennifer, the tall Rockabilly dancer. Sherri's always bad ass and fun. I'm bummed I didn't get one dance with Kendra. Dolly's friend, Wendy, is catching on fast and her connection is really starting to kick in. Meeshi brought Allison from, idunno, Scotland, I think. And I had a few fun dances with the visitor from Phoenix, Mandi? I forgot her name. Yeah, I'm pressing "replay" alot in my head today, going over all the fun dances and amazing people. |

And thank you Steven (aka "Roheven") for emailing me 5 separate emails of these great pix, (at 11 o'clock last night); each email being about 13 megs! I had so much fun putting both our pix together and doing the Kodak Gallery thing, (which is SO easy on a PC (I've got one of Gabe's PC laptops next to my Mac desktop). The free Photoshop 2.0 download isn't even available on a Mac. And the blue thumbnail pics at the bottom of the slideshow on Kodak Gallery don't even show up on my Mac. Oh, the Mac version only lets you upload one pic at a time. With the PC I dragged 53 pics, each about a meg, into the Gallery at one time. So easy! Gotta get a PC.) |

I got there around 9ish last time I was there but most people didn't start getting there until closer to 9:30... I will either be there early for dinner or get there again around 9. :-) |

Actually, I take that back. I think the problem was just low energy. Even the band didn't seem to want to play. Then they just kept playing super fast songs, so everyone sat out. Oh well! I need to go to sleep. |

"Life is so empty without me" (lol!!) I think lots of people, including me, were ready to chill after July 4th activities and parties. I stayed home and put together some slideshows of Kava Lounge and the July 4th party we attended. But after a break I'm sure dancers will need a Henry's fix even more next week. |

There was some guy who works in Congress there last night.. and when I was asked where you were last night, Jeff.. I said that you had basically said it would take an 'act of Congress' to get you out.. and this guy from DC, Alex, said - "I work in Congress"! :-) We were going to have him do some sort of 'act' so you would have to come out... but then we got distracted... beer or something.. :-) |
