Theresa!!! Hey Doll how are ya? I missed coming out to CO.. maybe one of these days all my managers will let me take a day or two vacation and I can fly out there! Lindy Groove has now reserved a respected spot in my mind.. I guess I just needed to give it and myself time before I could start to fit in the groove. I had the most wonderful dances last night with plenty of visiting leads that were out a night early for Monsters. I also danced with some leads remembered where I was from - so they made my night! The DJs were inspiring, especially out very own San Diegan! And hey, Michelle came out - yeah! Bad Kitty & Diane: thank you for your hospitality and welcoming smiles. Julius thanks for the dance. [my hip is now realigned and feels better... it did start hurting last night, but I danced anyways] |

But worse comes to worse I'll see you when I come back home the week of June 17th. I just wanted to say congratulations to Ron for a good set at Lindygroove. I was diggin' it. hehe. I did notice your set had an average faster tempo then it does in SD. But i ate it up... oooh.. yahh. Would've said something in person but ummm... i needed to get home...oh and always loved that groovy uhh.. is it a Sting song?---David |

Thanks David, it was cool that there were a bunch of San Diegans there... I played a jazzy/funky version of "If You Love Someone Set Them Free" from his new live album. I know I've played it at Lindy by the Bay, too. Actually, a lot of people came up to me to ask me about songs I played, which I guess is a good sign. It was a great night. I hated the drive up, but then I enjoyed DJing and dancing, so it was all good in the end. |
