You don't like my picture? I guess I should just cut Mike out. I thought Jack Johnson was awesome. He has a great voice and sounds better live then on his album which is really impressive. I wasn't that crazy about Ben Harper actually but I think that was because of the long break between the two. I would have been more into it if they had flowed together more. I was really hoping Ben Harper would be featured on "Flake" since he is on the album but oh well. All in all I really liked it. Jack Johnson is badass! |

Aubergine on Wednesday? There is a chance Aubergine will change to Wednesday nights instead of Sundays. What do you think about this? Please discuss here, and also vote on our web poll, which does not allow multiple votes. My opinion is that Wednesday night would be better. Sunday nights are dead nights for pretty much every type of music and dancing. People want to wind down and relax for work the next day, not stay out late. |

I think its a bad idea simply because Tia Juana's is a fun venue and you will have competition there. Also if you ever want to get OC people down, it's out of the question on Wed. |

I'd prefer Wednesdays. I don't know what the numbers are in terms of competition from Tia Juana's (the combination of how many of us go up there and how many of them come down here). I do know that floor traffic being equal, I don't come home from the Aubergine covered in bruises the way I do from Tia Juana's. They've got some serious flailers and kickers up there. |

I would probably not go to Aubergine very much, if at all, if it were on Wednesdays. But then, I am a big freak, so I might go just as often anyway. |

Its not like your here everyweek for Sunday Julius. Honestly I wouldn't worry about Tjs competition, Ernest is the only one that consistantly goes. I would go either night, but kind of like Sundays. |

Hmm, I think I'm leaning towards Sundays mainly because that allows for more sleep recovery time in between venues. Well, and it's also nice to have Julius and others come visit us on Sundays. |

Hmmm, Wednesday nights or Sunday nights? Actually, I dance whenever and where ever I feel like it, so it doesn't really matter to me either way. I just hope people will continue to support The Aubergine regardless which night we can have it. One question: If you move to Wednesdays, will you continue to have live music EVERY week? |

Since we already have a firehouse on Thurs and the bi-weekly F2 on Friday, I would say leave it on Sunday...I just don't see this town adequately supporting 3 consecutive nights of dancing. |
