Long story short - I was at Disneyland on Sunday and noticed that they have swing dancing/music on Saturday nights. I know I've spoken with some people who mentioned that they used to go in years past. Anyone interested in going up this summer once a month or so? (Annual passes are nice - might as well get some use out of my new one. ;) ) |

We're due to get our annual pass again soon. |

It's Kendra posting on the forum! Anyone who hasn't danced with newly transplanted Kendra is missing out. Nice profile, by the way, we'll have to talk travel. I went dancing at Disneyland once last year, it was pretty fun to combine doing the park and going dancing in one day. Not sure I'd make a habit out of that trek, though. |

*blush* Aw, gee, thanks, Ron. :-) And I'm always up for talking travel! Back to my original thought, if we could get a carpool together and people took turns driving, it might not be that bad. I'm thinking about upgrading my pass to one that includes parking...as long as the passholder's in the car, parking's paid for. Actually, I suppose I'm lucky. I think it only took us about an hour and a half to get up there, but I live in Escondido and my lead-foot sister drove, so YMMV. ;) |

I went up with Sukkid and (short) Amanda right around Christmas time and it was a lot of fun. I don't think that I can afford a seasons pass, but I would want to go again sometime I think. I bet Sukkid would want to go too....he has a seasons pass I think. Oh, and Elizabeth was saying that she has a pass and wants to go too. We should all go on a feild trip! There is this really funny old couple that goes a lot and dances. They wear these elaborite outfits and sort of grind on each other and dance all hoochy. It's pretty funny. I know that has no relevence in the conversation.....but I thought maybe someone who didn't want to go might want to after they found out that there are old people grinding. |

An alternative to driving is the train. Amtrak drops off within a half-mile of the park (at Angle stadium). Karen and I have done this a couple of times and had a blast. If you're a AAA member, the train tickets are discounted. Business class gets you wine and a snack box for the trip home. |

Anyone want to try for a Saturday in June? Maybe the 12th, 19th, or 26th? (First Saturday has a Hep Spot dance on it, but if you'd rather go to Disneyland, I'm up for that too.) |
| |
Alright - general consensus is that the first Saturday in June (June 5) works for everyone. Send me an email if you're thinking of going and want to carpool/caravan so we can coordinate. (kendra@crimsonkite.com) |

Just a quick reminder that a group of us are going up Sat Jun 5 - if you want to go and need a ride or more info, email me. (kendra@crimsonkite.com) |

There is a Hep Spot and F2, are we going to wait until a different week? |
| |
Yeah. Forgot to post. It is postponed until another weekend. No one had asked me about it anyway, so... ;) |
| |
Y'all should come on up we are there every weekend and this weekend Friday is also swing night I hear that Stompy Jones is playing a few dates Friday night at Dland. |

There are plans in the works. I may see you there! |
