Come celebrate my birthday *Rat Pack* Style this Wed. 11/11 at the Firehouse. This is an *Ocean's Eleven* theme party, so I invite you all to dress vintage 60's Vegas or like one of Sinatra's Rat Pack. It really doesn't matter what you wear as long as you LOOK MONEY! We've got jazz standards and swingin' tunes made famous by the Rat Pack from DJs Carl and Steven from 8-10p, then dance to the ultra-suave sounds of San Diego's newest Jazz combo, Shay La Vie, from 10:15p-11:30p. In honor of my Birthday, there'll also be special dance performances from Dizzy with a Dame and a Surprise Cameo Appearance at 10p that you won't want to miss!
Lindy 1 & 2 Classes from 7-8p.
Open Swing Dancing from 8-11:30p.
Dizzy with a Dame performs at 9p.

Show up solo or with a partner- either way you'll have a great time THIS Friday, Nov. 6th & next Fri, Nov. 13th at Blue Bella, San Diego's longest-running blues/soul/dance venue. It's a good mix of all kinds, sometimes even a little funk, & tangoey blues.
Nov 6th: Guys are treating us nice tonight!!
Ronan is teaching his style of blues during the class 9:00-9:30.
Brick then Vaughan will be DJ'ing, ~9:45pm- 12:30am...
Look for Kristin, a green-eyed red head to take your cover:
$3.00 dance + class (must be in class by 9:15 to be fair to the others)
$5.00 check out the dance & music, no class.

Fort Guijarros Museum Foundation is proud to present their 2nd Annual 1940’s Style Swing Dance fundraiser at Old Fort Rosecrans on Saturday, November 14, 2009, from 19:00 until 23:00 (7:00 pm – 11:00 pm). The dance will be held in the historic 1919 U.S. Army YMCA Building #138 located on the Naval Base, Point Loma.
The 14-piece Big Band Entertainers will provide live 1940’s swing dance music. Popcorn and soft drinks. No host beer and wine. Cost is $25 per person. $15 per person for active U.S. military and guest. Costume or semi-formal dress.
