Question. What do you all think about a Lindy by the Bay THIS Saturday the 11th?

Due to the overwhelming response to my previously posted question (haha...not) I have decided that, YES!!, this Saturday, July 11th, from 6-10pm there WILL BE the popular night-time edition of LINDY BY THE BAY!!! So...drum roll please....

LINDY BY THE BAY!! This Saturday, July 11th, from 6-10pm. So come on down to the water behind the Hilton San Diego Resort from sunset to Sea World fireworks and get your dance on. There's a restaurant and full bar, and everything they serve can be brought down to the water. There is no cover charge for Lindy by the Bay but a $3.00 donation is suggested to cover expenses and clean-up.

What's better than night-time "Lindy by the Bay" in August? Come on down to the waters behind the Hilton San Diego Resort between I-5 and Mission Bay this Saturday the 15th from 6-10pm. Our featured DJ's will be Jackie Eldridge from 6-7pm, Jeremy "JC" Cook of Lindy Groove fame from 7-9pm, and then San Diego's own Meeshi Anjali will close it out from 9-10pm.

It's free if you're broke. If you can donate $3.00 it would be awesome to pay for expenses.

Sorry for the last minute notice, but there WILL BE a Lindy by the Bay THIS Saturday night (September 12th, 2009) from 6-10pm. So come on down to the waters of Mission Bay directly behind the Hilton San Diego Resort just off the I-5 at Clairemont Drive. All the food and drinks that the Hilton restaurant serves can be brought down to the waterfront dance just a few steps away. We'll start around 6pm and stay from sunset til the Sea World fireworks around 10pm. We always seem to go way past 10pm, btw. Jackie will be playing a wide variety of music from authentic vintage swing of all tempos, as well as jump blues, soul and lots of fun stuff.

Suggested donation: $5.00. If you're broke come anyway and give what you can.

Oso and I had SO much fun last night! I had so many awesome dances last night and Oso got more love than he knew what to do with. Thanks again everyone and I'll definitely see you all next time I'm in town!

The first Lindy by the Bay of 2010 is this Saturday, January 2nd. Lindy by the Bay is an outdoor swing dance venue located directly behind the Hilton San Diego Resort on the boardwalk overlooking the waters of Mission Bay. The sound system is awesome, and the facility is all you'd expect of a world-class hotel. Everything the restaurant and bar serves can be brought right down to the water where we dance and is only steps away. This Saturday's featured DJ's are Tammy Francis, Carl Flores and Jackie Eldridge. The event is free, but a donation of $5 is suggested to help pay for expenses. Attire is casual. We do sprinkle sand down in the dance area so spinning and turns are easy, so wear comfortable shoes that are okay to get a lil sandy. There is lots of parking on Mission Bay Drive in front of the hotel, and in the public lots to the north and south of the hotel.

Lindy by the Bay this Saturday, May 22nd, from 5pm - 9:30pm! Lindy by the Bay is the WORLD's most amazing outdoor swing dance venue located behind the Hilton San Diego Resort on beautiful Mission Bay. We dance adjacent the water on the wide floated concrete boardwalk and sprinkle sand on the dancefloor so it feels comfy and natural. Dress however you like. Any shoes work just fine. Order food and drinks from the Hilton restaurant and bar just steps away and bring it down to the water where we dance. State of the art sound system. A new recent addition is our "kiddie cabana," a shaded area adjacent the DJ booth for mom's with kids. So come, relax, dance, dine, drink and just chill. This week's hours are 5-9:30pm so you'll enjoy the daytime sun and the sunset as well. Yes, these hours are later than posted on the summer schedule, but I want to make sure that people can attend Jenna's workshop during the afternoon and still come to Lindy by the Bay afterward Smile

Our featured DJ's this week are Carl Flores and Jackie O'Eldridge.

The cost is "FREE" but donations to help pay for expenses are appreciated. If you could all pitch in $3.00 it would be awesome! If you're broke come anyway. If you can afford more help subsidize those less financially blessed. Either way, just come by, dance and enjoy.
