Summer sunset edition of Lindy By The Bay this Saturday, June 19th from 4-9pm! Lindy by the Bay is the WORLD's most amazing outdoor swing dance venue located behind the Hilton San Diego Resort on beautiful Mission Bay. We dance adjacent the water on the wide floated concrete boardwalk and sprinkle sand on the dancefloor so it feels comfy and natural. Dress however you like. Any shoes work just fine. Order food and drinks from the Hilton restaurant and bar just steps away and bring it down to the water where we dance. State of the art sound system. So come, relax, dance, dine, drink and just chill.

Stick around for Sea World fireworks at 9:50pm. We'll also be saying goodbye to Jessica Pipkin & her daughter Frankie who will be moving to Japan for two years. Here's the info from Jessica:

"Frankie and I are getting ready to move to Japan for 2 years! We'd like to get together with all the great friends we've met living here in San Diego. So, come out on Saturday June 19th for bonfire and dancing. Lindy By The Bay will be delivering the tunes. Roller blade around the bay or rent a paddle boat. Come out and hang with us before we go! Bring chairs, a dish, and a discreet beverage. I'll bring a fold out table to put stuff on. Hope to see you there!"

Our featured DJ's this week are Carl Flores and Jackie O'Eldridge. If you'd like to be considered to DJ at LbtB let me know!

The cost is "FREE" but donations to help pay for expenses are appreciated. If you could all pitch in $3.00 it would be awesome! If you're broke come anyway. If you can afford more help subsidize those less financially blessed. Either way, just come by, dance and enjoy.

Hey LbtB Gang,

This Saturday May 7, there will be LbtB from 1-5pm. The weather should be beautiful. Our featured guest DJ will be Ron Bloom, LbtB's original anchor DJ since 2001. The "kiddie cabana" will be up for all you swing mom's with children. Suggested donation: $5.00. If ya don't have it come anyway!!!

Lindy by the Bay
Saturday June 11, 3-8 p.m.
The Hilton San Diego Resort
1175 East Mission Bay Drive

Lindy by the Bay is San Diego's outdoor Lindy Hop venue located directly behind the Hilton San Diego Resort on Mission Bay. There is parking located in front of the hotel on the street, as well as two pubilc parking areas to the north and south of the Hilton. The cost is "by donation". Recommended donation is $5.00. If you can't afford that come anyway and give what you can. We play DJ'd music and have a great sound system. This floor is a floated concrete slab over sand along the water. We sprinkle beach sand down on the surface and mark off the dance floor with red cones for the safety of joggers, rollerbladdres, etc. There are a few restaurants and full bars right there so you can order drinks, pizzas, lunch, dinner...whatever, as well.

This week's featured DJ is Carl Flores. Carl and I will be spinning the tunes. So come on down and get your dance on! If you have questions feel free to give me a call on my cell: 619.339.7117.
