Balboa University was created with one thing in mind. Create well rounded, fundamentally sound Balboa dancers.

The format of the weekend provides full coverage of Balboa & Bal-Swing fundamentals as well as elective classes to fully round out your Balboa training. We also set up the schedule so that all levels interact and work together so that we all get to know each other and improve.

Friday's workshop focus is on building skills in Balboa (closed position). There is a room for raw beginners to get you started, while the higher levels build on these foundations to create more complex patterns.

Saturday's workshops focus on Bal-Swing fundamentals (transitions, crossovers, throwouts, lollies, pop turns)

Sunday's focus is on all that fancy footwork you see great Bal dancers doing.

Teacher training, and of course the Masters Q&A also enhance your unique experience in learning Balboa
