The Moonlight Serenade Orchestra is a 20-piece Big Band which performs every Thursday evening at the Lucky Star Restaurant and Ballroom. The band includes male and female vocalists. The dance floor at the Lucky Star accomodates 100+ dancers. Dinner (Chinese food) is available throughout the evening, and seating is arranged around the dance floor in a "U" formation - with the band being on a raised stage in front. A full bar is also present.

We play ~30 songs for each performance, and the songs are different every week. Our total song list contains over 300 charts, which are rotated weekly. The majority of numbers are swing, but latin, waltz, polka, ballads, etc., are included.

Downbeat for performances is at 7pm and we finish at 9:30pm, with a 10-minute break around 8:30pm.

The cover charge is $6 per person, with a 1-drink requirement.

The Lucky Star Restaurant and Ballroom is located at 54th Street and University Avenue. Reservations are welcome, and can be made by calling the restaurant - just mention that you are interested in reserving for the band on Thursday evening.
