Welcome to "Blue Bella," San Diego's twice monthly Blues and Soul swing dance venue. We meet on the 1st & 2nd Friday of every month at "Ciao Bella Restaurant" in La Mesa. You feel relaxed and cozy w/ the many warm and friendly dancers at this event. Know you are welcome as a dancer of any level. Blue Bella DJs play mixed tempos and a variety of music. So whether you're a beginner working on basics, a seasoned Lindy Hopper, or an experienced blues and soul enthusiast, the music will inspire and move you! Elizabeth M. McGuire, the promoter of Blue Bella, brings you the best and hippest DJ's who "play to the floor," offering a wide range of musical styles and artists.

The Blue Bella SCHEDULE:

- The 1st & 2nd Friday of every month from 9 to 12:30-ish am
- Dance class from 9-9:45 (taught by Elizabeth or guest instructors)
- $5 dance only or $3 class + dance (yes, that's on purpose, since we value learning & amazing blues dancers)
- Music is usually DJ'd with an occasional live artist. Regular DJs include Jax, Carl, Brick, Bonnie, & Firemark.
-ALL dance styles welcome, including Lindy hop, West coast swing, blues, alternative tango...as long as you are polite on the dance floor, we are happy to have you join us!

Blue Bella is having a FAREWELL PANDA party TOMORROW night w/ BAND Mercedes Moore @ Ciao Bella in La Mesa*. Be sure to say a proper dancer's Adieu to Amanda Lorenz w/ a blues jam that evening, & enjoy Mercedes's amazing singing talent. $12 cover just band, $10 lesson + band.
9-9:30 lesson by me, Elizabeth McGuire - Foundations of leading Beginner & Intermediate level;
Mercedes Moore Band at 9:30-~1:30 or so. Be there!
