Hey SD Dancers -

Dance historian RICHARD POWERS will be offering some very unique classes for our community on October 8th. We are putting this together with the San Diego Vintage Dancers and their response has been outstanding.

There are only 16 spots available to drop into the classes on October 8th.
The cost will be $15/class at the door:

LOCATION: VMMC in Balboa Park

SCHEDULE:
9:00 - 9:50 AM Savoy Swing and Precursors to Swing
10:00 - 10:50 Peabody
11:00 - 11:50 Texas Tommy
12:00 - 1:00 PM Lunch and lecture
1:00 - 1:50 Animal dances/Charleston
2:00 - 2:50 Blues
3:00 - 4:00 Review

There will be a special HEP SPOT that evening:
Vintage dance from 7 - 10 PM (no workshops)
Swing dance from 10 - Midnight
BAND: The Pit Orchestra...
They will be adding their unique sounds to your Swing favorites.
When is the last time you heard a band with a Theremin, Nose Flute, and other various noise makers?
