NORMA MILLER was first discovered as a gifted young Lindy Hopper by Herbert "Whitey" White when she was just 14 years old. Since she was too young to go into the Savoy Ballroom, she often danced outside on the sidewalk where the music could be heard quite well. The first time Whitey saw her she appeared out of nowhere on the dance floor and won a Savoy dance contest with Twistmouth George as her partner.

Not long after that, Whitey invited her to join Whitey's Lindy Hoppers. Norma Miller was the youngest of Whitey's Lindy Hoppers when she joined the group. She was from the start a very creative dancer with her own often comic style and she possessed an outstanding sense of rhythm. A vivacious and outspoken person, she was and still is always the life of every party.

MINN & CORINA are one of L.A.’s favorite competitors and without any doubt the fastest dancers within the scene of today. They have gained the American championships of Lindy Hop in 2003 and have held, for 3 years, the title of Champions of California in Balboa. Their competition background stems from a long history of 1st place titles in the local Southern California competition circuit since 1997. By the way, they just recently took home the title of undefeated champion for the second time in a row at the 2004 Hellzapoppin' U.S. Their desire to share their passion with others has introduced them as guest instructors across the map from the US to Japan and Europe.

FRANKIE MANNING - No one has contributed more to the Lindy Hop than Frankie Manning -- as a dancer, innovator and choreographer. For much of his lifetime he has been an unofficial Ambassador of Lindy Hop. Originally touring as a dancer and choreographer with Whitey's Lindy Hoppers in the 30's and 40's, he helped spread the popularity of the Lindy Hop through three continents. Once again, since the swing dance revival that started in the 1980s, Frank Manning has been a driving force worldwide with his teaching, choreography and performance. His own love of swing music and dancing has been as contagious as his dazzling smile.
